Julie James is best known as the Program Director and celebrity host of Broadway Names with Julie James on SiriusXM’s On Broadway channel where she also gives daily scoop on the Broadway Buzz. An opera & musical theatre professional, Julie utilizes her three-and-a-half octave range to reveal a childhood obsession with jingles, theme songs and Broadway cast albums. Julie made her Broadway debut as a guest star alongside Kristin Chenoweth in her special engagement concert For the Girls and has a lengthy resume of musical theater, opera and concert performances. In her one woman show, Julie delivers a classic evening of favorite tunes with an unconventional style and surprising twists that reveal the songstress, storyteller, and comedienne she truly is.

Charo Presented by Aventura Arts & Cultural Center

Charo is an American music and Pop Culture Icon who has entertained millions throughout her career; instantly recognizable by her trademark expression, “Cuchi Cuchi”. A virtuoso guitarist, singer, composer, actress and comedienne she has been an integral proponent of contemporary Latin music. She was named Female Pop Album of the Year Award at the Billboard International Latin Music Conference for her flamenco inspired platinum album, Guitar Passion. She has appeared in countless hit television shows and more than forty-five appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Charo also guest-starred on Sonny and Cher, The Carol Burnett Showand numerous appearances with Bob Hope and Sammy Davis, Jr.

Matt Doyle Presented by Aventura Arts & Cultural Center

Matt Doyle received the 2022 Tony® Award, Drama Desk Award and the Outer Critics Circle Award for his performance as Jamie in the Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's Company. Matt previously starred in the world premiere of the Huey Lewis musical The Heart of Rock & Roll at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego. His Broadway credits also include Tony-winning Musicals: The Book of Mormon (in the lead role of ‘Elder Price’) and Spring Awakening; Best Play winner War Horse; and the revival of the beloved musical comedy Bye Bye Birdie. Onscreen, he has appeared on CBS's The Code, on the original Gossip Girl, and in the indie feature Private Romeo. Matt has performed at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops, at symphonies across the country, and continues to headline a sold-out solo show throughout New York City. His album, Uncontrolled, is available on iTunes.

With Musical Direction by Rick Leonard During this memorable evening of showtunes, catharsis and joy, Lindsey takes us on a comedic musical journey...and her quest for the elusive “Happily Ever After.” Having played all over the country, as well as internationally, Lindsey Alley has entertained audiences everywhere from 54 Below in New York City to the world-famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Lindsey has been performing in theatre, television and film since the age of six. In 1989, she was cast as a Mouseketeer on the Disney Channel’s, Mickey Mouse Club, performing alongside Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, etc. She was one of only three cast members to appear in the pilot and all seven seasons of the show. “There are very few entertainers who are able to truly connect with people the way Lindsey does. Celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the birth of Sam Cooke with this extraordinary concert. The Cooke Book: The Music of Sam Cooke is a celebration of Sam Cooke’s innovative (but too brief) career that blazed a trail for Aretha Franklin, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Rod Stewart, Smokey Robinson, and many other giants of Soul Music. Sing along to songs from the legendary singer/songwriter that seamlessly highlight Cooke’s musical journey from Gospel golden boy, through his transition into an international Pop sensation, his remarkable Jazz and Blues interpretations from his triumphant Copacabana appearance, and his lasting legacy. A Chicago son, like Cooke himself, Darrian Ford performs these timeless and classic melodies with expanded and re-invigorated arrangements that hold stylistically true to the era, while his “... scorching vocals send you searching for your soul” - The Chicago Tribune

Rachel Bay Jones is best known for originating the role of Heidi Hansen in the Original Broadway Cast of Dear Evan Hansen, and receiving a Tony® Award, Emmy Award, Grammy Award, Lucille Lortel Award, and Drama League Nomination for her performance. Additional Broadway credits include Pippin, Hair, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. She can currently be seen on the hit ABC series The Good Doctor & CBS' The United States of Al, on Amazon's Panic, Why Women Kill on Paramount+, ABC’s Modern Family & CBS’ God Friended Me. Can't Get Next To You: A Temptations Experience Presented by Aventura Arts & Cultural Center

Starring Larry Johnson, Terry Horn, Michael White, Steven Wood and Greg Woods, Can’t Get Next to You features classic like “Cloud Nine,” “My Girl,” “Just My Imagination,” “Papa was a Rolling Stone” and more tunes that defined Motown and the music of the 1960s and ‘70s. Each member of the group has toured with former Temptations. Together, they bring a show that celebrates one of the most successful groups in popular music, a group that was the first Motown act to win a Grammy and was later inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This show will leave you on Cloud Nine and it won’t just be your imagination!

The Cleveland Orchestra New World Symphony Fellows Michael Tilson Thomas, conductor George Li, piano BERLIOZ Overture to Benvenuto Cellini DEBUSSY Fantaisie MAHLER Symphony No. 1 Mahler wrote, “A symphony should be like the world, it should embrace everything,” and his first symphony is just that. From its opening whispers of dawn and birdsong to its grand and glorious finale, Mahler’s symphony is turbulent, passionate, triumphant … and simply exhilarating. New World Symphony and The Cleveland Orchestra unite for this monumental piece, as well as Berlioz’s Overture to Benvenuto Cellini. In between, rising pianist George Li joins Cleveland for Debussy’s intoxicating Fantaisie.
