Celebrate Independence Day at the July 4th Celebration on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach. Presented by the Ocean Drive Association in partnership with the City of Miami Beach, the evening’s main event is a free concert by the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival at 8:30 PM, followed by fireworks at 9:00 PM at Lummus Park on Ocean Drive.
The orchestra is positioned directly under the fireworks and performs the 1812 Overture along with themes representing the U.S. military branches during the fireworks display, then continues with musical repertoire until 10:30 PM. Bring chairs and blankets for the concert and fireworks.
Make it a full weekend on Ocean Drive with daytime car events: the American Made Car Show (Saturday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM) and Supercar Sunday (Sunday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM).
